1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering a team, or participating in any Ladder League events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Liability Waiver. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in Ladder League. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. League Participation

  • All participants must register and pay applicable fees before competing.
  • Teams must consist of two (2) registered players.
  • Players must adhere to all league rules, including scheduling, scoring, and sportsmanship guidelines.
  • The league reserves the right to modify rules, schedules, divisions, and formats at any time.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or harassment of any kind may result in suspension or permanent removal from the league without refund.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Team registration fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable unless the league cancels a season before play begins.
  • Court listing fees are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time. No partial-month refunds will be issued.
  • Payments are processed through third-party services (e.g., Venmo). Ladder League is not responsible for errors or delays caused by payment processors.
  • The league reserves the right to change fee amounts with reasonable notice before the next season.

6. Court Usage

Courts listed on Ladder League are owned and operated by independent third parties.Ladder League does not own, manage, maintain, or inspect any court facilities. Players use listed courts at their own risk and must comply with all rules and conditions set by the court owner. Ladder League makes no warranties regarding court condition, safety, availability, or suitability.

7. Assumption of Risk

Pickleball is a physical sport that carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussions, heat-related illness, and other bodily harm. By participating in Ladder League, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation, including risks arising from the condition of facilities, equipment, weather, other participants, and your own physical condition.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ladder League, its owners, operators, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, court owners, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in the league, use of court facilities, or use of this website. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ladder League, its owners, operators, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, court owners, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the league, your use of any court facilities, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Ladder League and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

11. User Content

By uploading highlights, trick shots, photos, or other content to Ladder League, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content for promotional and operational purposes related to the league. You represent that you own or have the rights to share any content you upload.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your participation inLadder League shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Salt Lake County, Utah, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
